The assessment and advisory body of the Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Ltd., the Qualification Board for Translations and Interpretations, consisting of linguist training professionals of five Hungarian universities, has commenced its work.

Among the translation agencies acting on the market, the Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Ltd. was the first to set up an independent professional body consisting of higher education experts only. The Board holds monthly sessions and its annual working plan is focused on quality assured translation as a standard service.

We are developing such a competence-based evaluation and professional qualification system that serves the highest standards of delivering certified translations and technical translations. The solutions recommended by the Board will support the recruitment of translators, interpreters, proof-readers and trainees who wish to join the Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Ltd. as well as their assessment embedded in the workflow.

Our objective is to do the best certified translations and the best technical translations that satisfy the expectations of our loyal clients and customers.

The Hungarian Gazette Publishing and Legal Translation Centre Ltd has been created

The Ministry of Justice as the owner has decided to merge the Hungarian Official Journal Publisher Ltd and the Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Ltd (OFFI) and the new entity has been registered by the court of registration. The merger of the two companies took place on 16 October 2024, and MKIFK Hungarian Gazette Publishing and Legal Translation Centre Ltd. was created.

Excellent Hungarian Business Brand: Successful Spring Results at the State Translation Agency

After the first quarter of 2023, the Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Ltd. (OFFI) met the expectations of the business plan approved by the Ministry of Justice, its owner, with a country-wide result of almost 104%, based on the monthly turnover for the first four months.The period between January and April is close to 33% as a percentage of the full-year revenue plan.
