Having obtained ISO 17100:2015 certification, the colleagues of OFFI Ltd. are happy to publish - together with their original English equivalents - the translation of terms and definitions of the latest standard in the translation industry. The translations have been checked by the experts of five Hungarian universities.

The Central Translation Department was established as the organizational unit of the Prime Minister's Office.

In accordance with Decree No. 10326/1968 of the Minister of Justice, OFFI turns into a company

The duties of OFFI, certified translation, court and judicial interpreting are specified in Decree No. 24/1986 (26 June) of the Council of Ministers, still effective today.

OFFI continues its translation and interpresting duties as a company limited by shares

Since 2006 OFFI has been operating as a private company limited by shares
